A simple plug-in, Call Now Button is easy to download from the WordPress plugin directory but in case you are unfamiliar with the process I have outlined the steps below.
Step 1: Log into your WordPress website
Step 2: On the left side of your screen you will see a range of options, find “Plugins” and mouse over it without clicking. Three new options will slide out to the right of the “Plugins” menu button. One of these options will say “Add New”, click this option.
Step 3: You will now find yourself on a new page that has a search box on the top right side that has the word “Keyword” next to it. Put your cursor in the search box and type “Call Now Button”. You will see a plugin that looks like this:
Click the “Install Now” button.
Step 4: Once the plugin is installed you will be asked if you want to activate it. Activate the plugin.
Step 5: Now that you have activated the plugin look to the left side of the screen where the list of menu choices is. One of the options will say “Settings”, mouse over this option and you will see more choices expand to the right. One of these options will say “Call Now Button”. Click this.
Step 6: After clicking the button above you will be taken to the “Call Now Button” settings page. Here you will see a checkbox that says “activate”, check this box. You will also need to fill in your phone number so that the call button will call your business phone number.
Step 7: After inputting your phone number click “Save” and you’re done!
